The Vampire Story

Introduction

The city of Antioch has been the country's favorite haunt for vampires for centuries. Citizens know better than to venture out alone at night, and city officials know better than to piss of the hunters dwelling in their city. But despite this, people accept life in Antioch, vampires included.

Eire O'Connell has hated vampires since she was fourteen, and her older sister fell prey and was never seen again. But when she's walking home one night and a vampire literally falls from the sky and lands in front of her, she has no choice but to start changing her opinions.

Vampire Nathaniel Lockhart has spent the past ninety-one years in Purgatory, banished by a vampire-hating wizard. But now he's back, and everyone and his brother wants him dead. Add that to having no idea how twenty-first century America works, and he's in one hell of a mess.

Eire and Nathaniel's fates become intertwined at first meeting, but as they're about to learn, fate is never easy.
